    The Annual Budget details Council’s operating expenses that go towards quality service delivery, new initiatives and other associated costs to achieve our Community Vision of a Healthy, Sustainable and Thriving community.

    What is the Financial Plan?

    The Draft Financial Plan 2026/27–2035/36 is a 10-year plan that outlines Council’s expected income, planned expenditure, and how it will remain financially sustainable while meeting community needs.

    What is the Revenue and Rating Plan?

    The Revenue and Rating Plan determines the most appropriate and affordable revenue and rating approach for Council.

    What is the Long-Term Infrastructure Plan?

    The Long-Term Infrastructure Plan outlines the infrastructure programs and projects planned for delivery over the next 10 Years and beyond by Baw Baw Shire Council.

    Can I make a verbal submission?

    Yes, you can participate in the Council Meeting prior to Budget Adoption on 24 June 2026. Visit Council Meetings for more details. 

    Will I be notified of the outcome of my submission?

    The outcome of your submission will be communicated no later than 24 June 2026.

    What are the differences between a budget submission and a grant funding request?

    A budget submission seeks to influence Council's services, priorities, infrastructure program, or long-term financial direction. 

    By contrast, a grant funding request seeks Council funding for a specific, standalone project or group initiative.
