Baw Baw Shire Council currently has two vacancies on the Environmental Voice Advisory Committee and is seeking submissions of expressions of interest from community members interested to join.
About the Committee
The Environmental Voice Advisory Committee assists Council in understanding community issues, concerns and opportunities regarding the environment and sustainability.
The Committee also provides advice and recommendations to Council for consideration in the area of environmental policy, strategy and planning, such as assisting the development of the Environmental Sustainability Strategy 2022-2030.
Advisory Committee Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday in February, May, August and November from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Drouin Civic Centre , to consider, discuss and debate selected and arising environmental topics.
