Baw Baw Shire Council currently has three vacancies on the Environmental Voice Advisory Committee and is seeking submissions of expressions of interest from community members interested to join.
About the Committee
The Environmental Voice Advisory Committee assists Council in understanding community issues, concerns and opportunities regarding the environment and sustainability.
The Committee also provides advice and recommendations to Council for consideration in the area of environmental policy, strategy and planning, such as assisting with the revision of Council’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy 2022-2030.
Advisory Committee Meetings are held on the third Tuesday in February, May, August and November from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Drouin Civic Centre, to consider, discuss and debate selected and arising environmental topics.
The Committee is governed by a Terms of Reference and the overarching Advisory Committee Policy.
