Trial mobility car parking spaces at Warragul Leisure Centre
We are trialling three new priority mobility car parking spaces at Warragul Leisure Centre and want to hear your feedback on the trial initiative.
These car parking spaces will support people with limited mobility whether due to age, injury or temporary health conditions.
Since the construction of the new stadium, there has been an increase in the use of the centre car parking areas. Patrons wishing to attend the leisure centre to support their fitness, wellbeing and injury recovery who have mobility issues are experiencing difficulties in obtaining parking spaces closer to the Warragul Leisure Centre entrance.
There will be stencil markings and new two-hour parking signs displayed for the trial priority mobility car parking spaces.
The two-hour time limit will be in place between 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
These three priority spaces are in addition to the four disability spaces at the front of the Warragul Leisure Centre and the four disability spaces adjacent to the stadium.
This is a 12-month trial and your feedback will help determine whether these car parking spaces should be a permanent fixture.
The signage and line marking will be undertaken on Tuesday 5 August 2025 weather permitting, and this will trigger the start of the 12-month trial.
We invite all visitors to the Warragul Leisure Centre to share their thoughts and have their say in our survey, which will be live and open for community feedback from 9am on Tuesday 5 August 2025.
