FAQs
What is a pump track?
A pump track is a looping course filled with rollers, banked turns, and features designed for riders to build speed by 'pumping' rather than pedalling. By shifting their body weight up and down, riders generate momentum to navigate the track smoothly. These tracks help develop essential skills like balance, speed control, and flow. Suitable for a range of users, pump tracks can be enjoyed by cyclists, skateboarders, scooter riders, and even wheelchair users.
Who will be able to use the pump track?
This pump track is designed for all wheeled recreational users, including BMX riders, mountain bikers, skateboarders, scooter riders, rollerbladers, and those using adaptive bikes.
With a layout that accommodates all skill levels, the track features a dedicated beginners’ loop for newcomers while also offering a dynamic design suited for advanced riders and as a challenge for experienced users.
