Baw Baw Shire Council is doing a review of its Community Local Law, and you are invited to have your say, your way!
What is the Community Local Law?
The Community Local Law guides Council’s compliance, regulation and enforcement activities for car parking, property amenity, animal management and construction sites.
Why is it under review?
By undertaking a review of the Community Local Law Council can ensure it is meeting current community expectations while also protecting our residents, assets and facilities.
What's happened so far?
During March 2024 we asked our community to let us know their thoughts on the Community Local Law and also share ideas on other issues to explore.
Feedback from this initial round of consultation will help us to take into account emerging issues and ensure the local law is relevant.
How can I have my say on the new draft Community Local Law?
Consultation on the new draft Community Local Law will run from 7 June to 5 July 2024.
Please visit this page from 7 June 2024 to take a look at the draft Community Local Law, then share your feedback by completing a survey or making a submission.
We will also be out and about talking with residents at our community listening posts.
