What advantages does Noojee have when it comes to power and connectivity?

The working group believes Noojee has the following competitive advantages when it comes to power and connectivity in the region:

    • The area is sufficiently sized and geographically isolated to form a renewable energy ‘village’,
    • Noojee has a unique historical relationship with local renewable power which was introduced to the region in the 1920s,
    • The adoption of an environmentally sustainable power source could also be leveraged as a unique marketing asset for tourism and education activities.
