Community Consultation: Draft Budget & Long-Term Plans
Council has now prepared its Draft Annual Budget, including the Fees & Charges Schedule, Draft Financial Plan, Draft Revised Revenue & Rating Plan, and Draft Long-Term Infrastructure Plan; key elements of our integrated planning framework. These documents guide how we allocate resources to achieve our community’s vision. They outline Council’s current and future financial position, capabilities, and how funding will be prioritised across important services and projects.
Have Your Say!
We invite all community members to review the proposed plans and share your feedback via the survey below.
Your input plays a vital role in shaping both short-term actions and long-term strategies for our community. While any feedback on the documents will be vital, any proposals for securing funding for community projects are now awarded through the Community Grants Program. Council budget has already allocated $380,000 for this purpose.
Consultation period is now open and will close on Thursday 14 May 2026, 5.00pm
What's Next?
Once you submit your feedback, it will be referred to relevant subject matter expert officers for further assessment and recommendations, taking into account applicable legislation and Council’s Strategic Vision.
All submissions will be presented to Council at a briefing session, and any decisions arising from this process will be incorporated into the relevant documents.
Council will consider the adoption of the 2026/27 Annual Budget at the 24 June 2026 Council Meeting. Community members are welcome to make a verbal submission on the Budget at this Council Meeting. Information about Council Meeting submissions can be found on our website.
